Community Natural Foods

Community Natural Foods can provide you with unrefined and organic foods, natural nutritional supplements and sustainable lifestyle products. Whenever possible they source local farmers and producers in order to reduce food miles.

They recycle much of their waste at their various locations and compost their kitchen waste. They also have a cell phone/PDA recycle box at each of their stores. They are Calgary's first grocer to go single-use plastic bag free. They encourage customers to bring their own reusable bags, or they offer bags for sale that are made from 100% recycled pop bottles.

Their head office hot water is solar powered and all of their locations are powered by wind power.
