In January of 1991, we opened a small 120 square foot office in Ajax, Ontario. This location provided the company with the strategic location needed to better service the main Durham to Peel corridor. By March of 1991, the company had grown to a point where it was necessary to hire its first employee. The search for our first employee who would share our commitment to service excellence was successful and that technician stayed with us for over 14 years. Although there is no industry requirement to do so, we decided we would be able to provide better service by enrolling in a chimney certification course put on by an organization called Wood Energy Technology Transfer (W.E.T.T.). It is still our requirement that once our technicians have the required field experience (80 weeks) we enroll them in the certification process. In 1993 we added the installation of chimney liners and in 2001 dryer vent cleaning to our core business of servicing and maintaining chimneys. Over the years we have continued to grow and are very
proud to say we have professionally serviced over 90,000 homes. We now service from Newcastle in the east to Hamilton in the west and all points between.
