The National Energy Board (Canada) is an independent federal regulatory tribunal established in 1959. It's regulatory powers under the NEB Act include granting authorizations for construction and operation of interprovincial and international power lines and oil and gas pipelines as well as exports of oil, natural gas, and electricity.
