Alana Husby is a fifth generation British Columbian logger; her family has strong roots in the industry dating back to the 1800s. Raised in the Queen Charlotte Islands (Haida Gwaii), as a young girl Alana was adopted into the Haida Nation as an honorary member of the Raven Clan.
Having developed a passion for timber, Alana’s father encouraged her to pursue a career in forestry and to gain vital experience within each facet of the logging and sawmill process.
