The Gathering Place Trading Company

The Gathering Place specializes in ethically crafted, fair trade, organic teas and Antarctic Pure Salt, brought from developing countries around the world. The company is committed to organic farming, sustainability and social responsibility. The teas and salt are packaged using recyclable packaging and eco friendly inks. They have also created a compostable box for their tea bags which can be used as mulch. Their business vehicle runs on used vegetable oil. The owners of the Gathering Place, Ryan and Lovena Harvey, believe in giving back to the country that produces their Rooibos Tea, and volunteer with Help Lesotho in Africa and donate 13% of their tea bag profits to www.helplesotho.ca.
