Building Comissioning

Building Comissioning is an essential element of the Engineering and architectural Construction process, as it ensure that these systems operate as needed and that the staff are able to operate a building in future years. Although inspections do ensure that these process are up and running and are installed as specified, building commissioning is a must if the systems are to be sustainable.

The LEED system has now made building commissioning a compulsory requirement for certification. Furthermore, an extra LEED credit is able to be earned by performing extended commissioning.
