The Canadian Wind Energy Association, or CanWEA, represents Canada’s wind energy community. This community includes organisations, as well as individuals, such as wind energy owners, project developers, consultants, service providers, and those who are interested in supporting the wind energy industry in Canada.

As one of the fastest-growing sources of  power and Alternative Energy, wind energy offers clean, green possibilities as Canada moves into the future and tries to reduce our dependency on non-renewable forms of energy. Globally, there are over 150,000 wind turbines in 90 countries, and we look forward to Canada catching up.
