Canadian Bioenergy Industry

The Canadian Bioenergy Association, or CanBio, is a non-profit organisation that acts as the voice of the Canadian bioenergy industry. We focus on promoting bioenergy development, particularly in the industries of heat and power generation, bio-fuels and bio-chemicals.

We are governed by a twelve-member board, and our membership is made up of utility companies, start-ups, manufacturers, researchers, government agencies, individuals, project developers and many others. We provide our members with policy advocacy, conferences, networking opportunities and access to international markets.

In today’s market and climate, a focus on Green Energy such as bioenergy has never been more important. CanBio looks forward to serving those in the bioenergy industry now and in years to come.
