Commercial Building Sustainability Certification

BOMA BESt is the only Assessment program for commercial building sustainability certification in Canada. Our certification system is based on Green Globes, which is internationally accepted and well-known.

Six areas of environmental performance are assessed. These are: Water, Energy, Waste Reduction, Emissions, Indoor Environment and Environmental Management System. Business owners and managers who are interested in achieving our certification for their building’s efficiency should contact BOMA BESt.

Right now, we tailor assessments for offices, light industrial buildings, open air retail centers, shopping centers and multi-unit residential buildings. We may expand our offerings in the future, and we look forward to serving Canadian building owners with a way to assess sustainability and earn certification.
