Environmental Advocacy Organisation

The Ecology Action Centre is an Environmental Advocacy organisation that has been working since 1971 to build a healthier and more sustainable world. For the past nine years, we’ve been awarded the “Best Activist Organisation” by The Coast, and have received other accolades as well.

Some of the Environmental Issues that we are working on currently include marine issues, coastal issues, food, transportation and energy issues. At EAC, we believe that the very well-being of society is closely linked to the health of the environment. For this reason, we provide information and education to the general public and support grassroots efforts to make a difference.

If you would like to support the Ecology Action Centre, we are looking for volunteers to join teams and contribute expertise and experience. Those interested in green living and Environmentalism in Nova Scotia or across Canada are welcome to get in touch to learn about volunteer opportunities.
