Environmental Mining Association

At MiningWatch Canada, we are an environmental Canadian Association and initiative and we are focused on the mining issues of the environment and social justice. 

We began in 1999 with an interest in improving public health, water and air quality, fish and wildlife habitat and our community. These dangers are often posed by the irresponsible mineral policies and practices in Canada and around the world.

We are a direct response to the industrial and government failures to protect the public and the environment from damaging mining practices. MiningWatch Canada is a national non-profit with dedicated staff in an Ottawa-based office.
