Geothermal Energy Association

CanGEA is Canada’s Geothermal energy association, focusing on power generation from geothermal sources and the direct use of heat. We are a non-profit industry association, and we represent our member companies, which include geothermal development companies, suppliers, academics, financial institutions and service providers. We are a global company, representing clients from North America, Iceland, Australia and New Zealand.

We are not involved in the development of geothermal systems; instead, we focus on developing legislations, recommending policies for research, developing public Education programs and participating in geothermal mapping programs.

As we go further into the 21st century, we anticipate that Geothermal Energy will continue to be a hot topic as more Canadians strive toward lowering energy costs and reducing our dependence on finite resources.
