Green Custom Homes

Dwellings is a small company that creates green custom Homes for people who are concerned about the environment. Using natural and local materials whenever possible is an important part of the Dwellings mission. In addition, we ask local craftspeople to provide their services, as we want to build communities as we build houses.

Our craft is woodworking, timberframing in particular, and we have an eye for detail along with architectural know-how. We work with people to create their eco-friendly dream homes within their budgets. We might include solar panels, strawbale insulation, a green roof, a way to collect rainwater and a variety of other natural, green features.

Dwellings typically completes two large projects, such as houses, per year, along with a variety of small projects, including entryways, pergolas, sheds, outbuildings and staircases. We would be pleased to be trusted with your needs.
