The School of Architecture at Waterloo has been rated as the greenest architecture curriculum in Canada. Our focus is on Green architecture, teaching ways to promote sustainable design and eco-friendly architecture practices.

The School of Architecture is located in an historic building in the downtown area of Galt, in the larger city of Cambridge. Our location within Ontario offers a beautiful urban landscape, and we are also close to natural spaces within the city of Cambridge. Most of our Architecture students prefer to live off-campus within the core of Galt.
