The Canadian Council on Ecological Areas, or CCEA, is a bulletin board where we and others can share information on Canada’s protected areas. When we find a newsworthy item from government, non-government and academic agencies, we post it on the board so that others can benefit from information about Conservation, environmental protection and other pressing issues.
Canada’s Climate and geographic features contribute to several fragile ecozones and numerous ecosystems across the country. Only through awareness and conservation efforts can we assure the continuation of sustained growth in our protected areas.
If you would like information about what is being done to conserve protected and, in some cases, endangered parts of Canada, please visit the CCEA bulletin board. Here, you will also find ways to help protect and sustain the forests and other ecosystems in your province.
Please use the Contact form on the right for Information on Canada's Protected Areas information and ordering.
