Promoting Environmental Conservation

The Conservation Council of Ontario is committed to promoting environmental conservation for sustainability. We are an association of individuals, businesses, organisations and municipalities working together to encourage conservation and sustainable practices.

Our main goal is to educate Ontarians and other Canadians about what conservation is, and how to do it. Many people practice conservation without even realising it. We promote Water Conservation, the reduction of energy consumption, alternative energy, alternative transportation, eating foods grown locally, waste reduction and measures against pollution.

There are many ways to assist us with our mission. You could join We Conserve, a program sponsored by the Conservation Council of Ontario. You could also implement some of our recommended conservation strategies, or donate to our association. We look forward to hearing from you.
