Promoting the Climate Movement

The Climate Action Network Canada is an organisation comprised of 85 other organisations. Our job is promoting the climate movement as a whole, instead of representing the interests of just one or just a few separate organisations. We work with our member organisations toward common goals.

These goals include reducing greenhouse gas emissions; reducing Canada’s dependence on fossil fuels; promoting Clean Technology policies in every industry; and supporting government agencies and municipalities in investing in Clean Energy sources. The Climate Action Network gives smaller organisations a place to get together and coordinate their activities to make the most good for all, focusing on Climate Change and all of the associated issues.

If your organisation is interested in joining the Climate Action Network, please contact us for an application and more information. While we do not accept individuals as members, we do sponsor events that might be open to individuals, and we do accept donations to further our cause toward working with climate change.
