The Canadian Council for International Cooperation, or CCIC, is coalition of organisations working toward ending poverty in Canada and across the world. We promote social justice, Social Responsibility and human dignity. We believe that ending poverty is not only possible, but our moral and ethical obligation.
The CCIC has a 10-point agenda that we refer to in deciding which organisations to support and where to send aid. Some of the issues that we deal with include women’s rights, worldwide access to Health and Education, ending hunger by promoting sustainable farming practices, and building global economic justice.
Our membership includes 90 nonprofit organisations in Canada. These include religious groups, secular groups, professional organisations and many more, all with the mission to make the world a better place.
