Nature's Path Foods

Nature's Path Foods manufactures cereals, bars, snack foods, waffles, breads, and baking mixes using organic ingredients and no GMO. Nature's Path Foods have been selected by MacLeans Magazine as one of Canada's greenest employers for 2009. At Nature's Path Foods they do things like give their employees education grants and incentives to buy a hybrid car, give money to spend on wellness activities, whether it is for a gym membership or a new commuter bike, and they have an on-site organic garden. They sponsor urban gardening projects, environmental education, and preservation programs. They source their ingredients from organic farms, and are buying up farmland and converting it to organic. Also they have reduced the amount of paper in their packages, compost like crazy, and even have an experimental green roof at their headquarters. They're on the path to being zero-waste certified by 2010, and completely carbon neutral by 2020.
