Education on Environmental Issues

Earth Day Canada is a national environmental charity that provides year-round education on Environmental Issues to Canadians. Although Earth Day takes place on April 22 each year, our mission takes place every day. We offer free educational programs to all Canadians on how we can collectively reduce our impacts on the earth.

One of the things that we do is to promote cost-effective, practical solutions for everyday Green Living. We offer campaigns, challenges and contests to inspire creativity and participation from Canadians of all ages and backgrounds. We also offer scholarships and have a hometown heroes award program, as well as a mentoring program and curriculum for children.

You can help to support Earth Day Canada as well as environmentalism and eco-friendliness by donating to the charity or attending a gala. You can also participate in a range of activities and programs, most of which are free, to expand your knowledge of environmental issues.
