Green Programs

Earth Day Canada is a national environmental-friendly charity founded in 1990.

We offer free, year-round, award-winning Green Programs to educate and inspire Canadians of all ages, backgrounds and sectors to reach local environmental solutions.

Celebrated every year on April 22, we are the largest environmental event in the world.

More than 6million Canadian including nearly every school-aged child-participates in an Earth Day activity in their communities.

We partner with and support hundreds of green organizations across the country, as they engage Canadians in annual celebrations of this special day.

Our mission is to foster and celebrate environmental respect, behavior and action change that lessens our impact on the earth.
 
Our Green Programs focused on education, action, recognition and financial support and are successful because they offer simple, easy-to-accomplish actions that can be done by all of us.

Each people action will add up to a substantial improvement for the environment when we all work together.
