Kicking Out Toxics

At Environment Defence Canada, one of our most important goals is kicking out toxics that have polluted our country. Out of over eighty thousand Chemicals currently used in the nation's industry, consumer products, furniture, household goods and cosmetics, only a tiny percentage have ever been tested for safety.

This consequently means that we are currently experiencing a huge human chemistry experiment. However not all hope is lost, as if we work together, we can rid of these toxics. Indeed, we have already successfully campaigned to remove the harmful Chemical BPA from baby bottles and phthalates from childrens' toys.
